A mile-high city conference recap
With over 150 attendees, our annual pension administration conference was our largest ever! We hosted 69 funds from around the globe and topics ranged from AI to succession planning to digital transformation.

This year's Pension Administration Conference was co-hosted by Colorado PERA in Denver. The conference was a great success with more than 150 people attending, including 70 first-time participants.
As always. the week kicked off with a tour of our co-host's offices, during which COPERA presented insights from their on-going organizational transformation. Pension funds learned how COPERA is using customer experience and cross divisional collaboration to improve their business processes and to support organizational change.

The following day, panel discussions focused on the opportunities and risks of AI in the finance sector and for pensions administration services. The day closed with one of our clients showcasing practical applications of AI within their organization.
Other panels discussed the challenges funds face managing people transitions: recruitment, talent turnover, and succession. There was a lot of discussion among participants after a plan presented how they are providing advisory services to their members via Certified Financial Planners, recognizing pensions are complex and members may need expert advice.
Our conference wouldn’t be complete without the breakout sessions, where selected systems showcase what they have been working on. One of our UK clients discussed how to be competitive in a very low-cost environment. A Dutch client presented how they are turning their chaotic data into high-quality insights that can be used to improve their customer experience. And a UK and Canadian system shared how they implemented a digital path to easy retirement.
