Peer sharing: Reducing human intervention in back-end processing through automation and artificial intelligence (AI)

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a software robot that can be trained to perform basic repeatable tasks such as data entry, calculations, and letter generation. Over the last year, the BCPC has trained a software robot to save thousands of hours and free up employees for more complex work where human judgement is required. Robert recently presented on the journey to implement the software robot and provided an overview of their RPA program at our 2022 Global Pension Administration Conference, and more recently, at our 2023 California workshop for small and mid-sized pension funds.
